Longfellow Gardens is the hidden gem location for Minneapolis Photography! It's in my top 3 locations, which makes it hard to share it with others because it is still mainly locals. Not only does this location have a FIELD in the heart of South Minneapolis (unheard of), it has the most gorgeous white pergola, an ever-changing flower garden and is only a 10 minute drive from my home, which is a huge win!
The garden starts blooming in spring (around May) and the plants/flowers grow to 3-5ft tall by fall. This is a great location for mini sessions because everything is a stones throw away, making it easy to fit so many backgrounds into a 15 minute session. This is also great for full and extended family sessions, couple sessions, newborn and maternity as well. Longfellow Gardens is a 5 minute walk from Minnehaha falls, so you could fit two locations into one full session if you'd like!
